Pitch It! Minto Business Plan Competition

2017 PitchIt! Minto Business Plan Competition kicks off!
Over $15,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs!

For the 6th year the Town of Minto is proud to partner with area organizations and businesses to offer the “Pitch It!” Minto Business Plan Competition. The purpose of “Pitch It!” is to encourage small business growth in Minto and to increase awareness of the resources available to businesses in the community.  The competition is geared towards entrepreneurs that wish to open, purchase, expand or re-locate a business within the Town of Minto.

Once again, thanks to the support of community sponsors, over $15,000 in cash and prizes are up for grabs to the winner and finalists of the competition. “This competition gave me the opportunity to learn more about my business and the community and has greatly contributed to our success. I would highly recommend that other businesses take part in PitchIt and benefit from the knowledge and experience the Economic Development Committee and LaunchIt can provide to support their business” said Angie Christensen of Teenie Tiny Tots, the winner of last year’s competition, which recently expanded her storefront in downtown Palmerston.

For anyone interested in entering the competition, details and application forms can be found online at or at the Town of Minto Office located at 5941 Hwy 89, Harriston. Questions regarding the competition can be directed to Belinda Wick-Graham at 519-338-2511 ext. 241 or
